Chicago Public Schools
Chicago Public Schools (CPS) endorses us for our success. Our Chicago Site is involved with 4 CPS High Schools: Gary Comer College Prep, Woodlawn Charter High, Urban Prep: South Shore and Perspectives Charter: Calumet Campus.
Jefferson Awards
The Jefferson Awards award Shashin Chokshi, Morgan Hartley, Greg Nance, co-founders, for creating a program program that offers inner-city high school students mentors and a roadmap for economic success and developing a turnkey system that now involves 15 universities across the country.
Junior Achievement
Junior Achievement, which operates in more than 100 Chicago schools, has given Moneythink access to two of its classrooms because the organization is interested in our peer-mentoring model.
Urban Prep Academies
Our Chicago Site team since 2011 has been operating at Urban Prep: South Shore Campus. Urban Prep has since attended the 2011 Moneythink Young Entrepreneurs’ Conference and fully endorsed our involvement on campus.

Teach for America
Teach for America: In the 2011-2012 academic year, Moneythink will be partnering with Teach For America as a recruiting partner at the University of Chicago. Moneythink mentors gain valuable skills teaching in inner-city classrooms, and many strive to Teach For America upon graduation.
Kauffman Foundation
In July 2011, Moneythink’s Young Entrepreneurs Conference winner, Merriel Hartfield, was invited to the Kauffman Foundation for Entrepreneurship in Kansas City to get personal and business mentoring from some of the world’s foremost entrepreneurship experts. Merriel helped found and manage a student store at her high school in South Chicago. Moneythink and the Kauffman Foundation aim to repeat this experience for the winners of the 2012 Moneythink Young Entrepreneurs Conference.
Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship
NFTE worked with Moneythink students in Chicago in preparation for the annual Moneythink Young Entrepreneurs Conference.
