Moneythink is always looking for bright, motivated individuals who are looking to make a difference. We offer a host of opportunities to undergraduates, from mentoring to marketing our organization. Even if you are out of college, we’d love to have you on board! Here are just a few of the ways that you can help:
Become a Mentor: We are always looking for bright undergraduates to spread the message of financial literacy. As the real ground forces of the organizations, our mentors get an opportunity to make a real impact on their students and the surrounding community. Don’t worry if you feel that you aren’t qualified! Our specially designed training program will give you all of the training that you need– This includes one hour of training per week, and several weeks of shadowing more experienced mentors before you are assigned to a classroom of your own. Furthermore, Moneythink mentors almost always teach in pairs, allowing them to work on a more individual basis with their students. Being a mentor is a journey that you will not forget, and we guarantee you’ll learn as much from your students as they learn from you.
Join the Leadership Team: Moneythink chapters across the country need motivated students to manage and promote the organization. Apply your talents as a liason to local schools, fundraiser, event planner, marketing expert, or wherever you think they would be most useful. Contact your local program director to find out more.
Guest Speaker: Are you involved in finance or entrepreneurship? Do you think that you have a valuable perspective to offer our students? If so, become part of our guest speaker program. We bring professionals from a wide variety of careers to talk to our students about finances and the business world, both on university and high school campuses. Talks are normally informal and roughly twenty minutes in length, followed by a short Q&A.
