Greg Nance, co-founder
Prospecting and Internal Operations

Greg is involved with UChicago’s Blue Chips investment club, Student Government, Delta Upsilon fraternity and Cornerstone Baptist Church. Greg is also an active community mentor, neighborhood debate coach and elementary school chess teacher. He has worked for Merrill Lynch, Bainbridge Schools Foundation and Chicago Public Schools in addition to founding Nance Brothers Investment Group, a portfolio advisory service. Greg hopes to one day serve as the superintendent of Seattle Public Schools.

Ted Gonder, co-founder
Outreach and Inter-university Expansion

Ted Gonder is a second-year at the University of Chicago studying Geography, specifically Chinese environmental issues. In high school, he founded Project Cooldown and worked with Al Gore’s group, The Climate Project, to pursue his passion for environmental issues. In college, he’s on the rowing team and involved in numerous sustainability-oriented organizations, as well as managing Moneythink’s expansion. He also writes a blog on the side, Thoughts of a Relentless Optimist.

Morgan Hartley, co-founder
Content and Program DevelopmentMorgan Hartley is a second year at the college studying economics. He has worked for Los Angeles based start-up Phat Energy and Dolby Laboratories, for whom he did sales and IT work. On campus, he runs long distance for the varsity track team, and is currently working with economist John List to develop field experiments. Morgan hopes to pursue a career as a social entrepreneur, and develop widespread economic incentives for environmentally and socially friendly courses of action.

Dustin Popiel
Operations

Dustin is an undergraduate student at the University of Chicago. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of the Arts in Economics. Dustin is the Assistant Director of Education for MoneyThink. In addition to MoneyThink, Dustin is involved with Phi Delta Theta Fraternity, Maine Township Alumni Board, and the District 207 Student Advisory Committee. When Dustin is not diligently studying, he enjoys relaxing and playing guitar.

David Chen, Co-founder
Events and Moneythink InternationalDavid comes from Guangzhou, China. He is studying at the University of Chicago, where he is a sophomore and an active member of the student community. In school, David is involved with multiple student organization, including The Blue Chips Investment Club, Eckhart Consulting, Student Government, and the Crew Team. During school break, he externed in Dutsche Bank Chicago Office, and interned in Merrill Lynch Hong Kong Office, Shanghai World Expo, and American International Assurance (AIA) Guangzhou Office. Besides his strong interest in finance, David is also deeply involved with community service, including volunteering in Peru, Virgin Island, and Guangzhou. David hopes to be an social entrepreneur in China after graduating from college.
