DonateWith programs running all across the country, new programs coming online each quarter, and thirty university students trained as mentors in Chicago alone, we are proud to say that our impact is getting larger. Our programs, however, have come up against a sizeable resource crunch. We would like your support in our mission to spread financial literacy. It costs us about four hundred dollars to run a program for ten weeks, and any portion of that helps us keep bringing students a better practical education, and gives them an opportunity at a brighter future. DONATE NOW! To get a better idea of how we intend to use your money, please click here. |

Be a Guest SpeakerAre you involved in finance or entrepreneurship? Do you think that you have a valuable perspective to offer our students? If so, become part of our guest speaker program. We bring professionals from a wide variety of careers to talk to our students about finances and the business world, both on university and high school campuses. Talks are normally informal and roughly twenty minutes in length, followed by a short Q&A. |

Become a MentorWe are always looking for bright undergraduates to spread the message of financial literacy. As the real ground forces of the organizations, our mentors get an opportunity to make a real impact on their students and the surrounding community. Don’t worry if you feel that you aren’t qualified! Our specially designed training program will give you all of the training that you need. This includes one hour of training per week, and several weeks of shadowing more experienced mentors before you are assigned to a classroom of your own. Furthermore, Moneythink mentors almost always teach in pairs, allowing them to work on a more individual basis with their students. Being a mentor is a journey that you will not forget, and we guarantee you’ll learn as much from your students as they learn from you. Please visit the pages of our individual chapters to learn more about available mentorship opportunities. |

Offer Externship to Moneythink StudentsWe are proud to take our students’ learning experience outside of the classroom. At least once per every ten-week session, we will take the students to visit a bank, a trading floor, or the offices of top-caliber entrepreneurs so that they can get a better view of how what we are studying works in the “real” world. These experiences are invaluable, not only serving to cement student-mentor relationships, but also maximizing our impact by contextualizing what we teach. Our externship program takes this to the next level, allowing our students to shadow professionals for one to two days in their office. If you are interested in hosting a Moneythink mentee, please send us an email indicating the name of your firm/organization and the position of the individual(s) whom the mentee would shadow. |
