Make an impact on America’s next generation and economy

With programs running in four schools, new programs coming online each quarter, and thirty university students trained as mentors in Chicago alone, we’re proud to say that our impact is getting larger. Our programs, however, have come up against a sizeable resource crunch. We would like your support in our mission to spread financial literacy. It costs us about four hundred dollars to run a program for ten weeks, and any portion of that helps us keep bringing students a better practical education, and gives them an opportunity at a brighter future.

Money donated to the programs goes to pay for transportation of mentors to and from the schools, printing, and hosting events like the annual investment pitch competition, where our best and brightest students are given an opportunity to present the investment portfolios that they developed over the course of the program to high profile individuals in the local financial community. It also helps pay for the development and maintenance of our website, which will the hub of resources and communications for mentors and students alike.

It is important to note that while Moneythink is formally incorporated in the state of Illinois, we have not yet aquired 501c3 (non profit tax exempt) status. Our application is currently pending, and we expect to be a certified non-profit by April 2010.

Join us on our mission for a better financial education, and make a donation today!
